PHP Script Codes > Anti-Theft Module
This is a last resort, as you will likely burn a bridge if it is used unnecessarily, but it will help guarantee that you get the money that is owed to you. While this may seem a bit crass, it is extremely effective as clients never want their own customers to know they are skipping out on payment for services rendered.
What the Anti-Theft Module does is check for the existence of a publicly available text file on the internet. If it does not exist, you are forwarded to a PayPal page prompting for immediate payment. A great resource for free public hosting is Dropbox.
FEATURES INCLUDE:
Check if a given URL exists.
Redirect to a PayPal page, prompting for payment of services if the URL does not exist.
If URL does exist, there is no effect on the page content.
Remote uninstallation capabilities.
External configuration file.
